Creativity started as a child, doodling on anything from walls, to the phone and even my mom’s car windows. Now, as you can imagine, my mom wasn’t really happy with the mark I left throughout our home lol, but I tend to left my mark with my clients. This helped me to grow into the artist I am today. Loving to capture people’s wedding days and beautiful moments, even if they tend to go unnoticed. I love designing successful brands that is eye catching and a result of what the company stands for.
I am a full time web developer at a company in Cape Town – but this only covers the website and design section of art… Like they say: “Practice makes perfect” Hence I’m making sure I never stop “practicing” I’m constantly seeking out new creative challenges and things to get my work out there and at a standard that is considered remarkable. This is my main reason for freelancing: to keep illustrating, to keep drawing and photographing, to keep pushing the element of design in new ways.
Ok – I tend to say too much and people often think I should talk less, so before I start babbling: this is a short summary of my background and where I come from and how I developed my brand…
Jumping Rabbit Creative was created by me (Nadia-Mari Oosthuizen) in 2012. I am extremely passionate about my work, which involves everything from photography, illustration, design to creating websites. Publishing design, digital design and advertising. Situated in Western Cape, South Africa.

To put a face to the name, this is me:

  1. Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for beginner blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.
